Hope you all had a great summer holiday! We did I certainly enjoyed not having to do the School run :) Had a lovely trip to Great Yarmouth and Southern Ireland.

These guys are so cute! Very fun and you can really see how much they love each other. I met them back last year when I went to meet them for a pre wedding meet. Their theme was "relaxed and fun" .

Their wedding was held at the gorgeous Old Thorns Hotel the day was very romantic and very relaxed, the sun broke through and ended up being a gorgeous sunny day.

Then I was lucky enough to cover another gorgeous wedding with another fab Bride and Groom who had been together a few years and already had two beautiful children together. This was an English Country wedding with many personal touches. The church was their family church, the car was the same car the Brides mother had on her wedding day and her sister! The reception was held in the grounds of the family home. It was all very personal.

This little princess is their Daughter in her Mum's wedding dress, how lovely is this picture going to be on her wedding day in years to come!

I know just how nervous you can feel about this but I have only ever heard from women how very worth it, it is and how relaxed and fun they find it. The pictures you recieve are just a bonus of the experience of the day and the confidence you gain from it. As i have said before i don't just talk the talk I have walked the walk and had boudoir shoots done myself also.

Here is a lady who I'm sure you will agree looks stunning, relaxed and happy. This lady is in her 60's!

Hiya Everyone

Well there is no give up with this weather at all. I had a fun shoot over the weekend, we got soaked to the bone but the fun and giggles well made up for the weather.

You may have heard of a “trash” or “treasure” the dress shoots, well really there are so many names for these kinds of shoots, with different meanings to them. You can of course literally trash your dress if you so wish but this is not necessary it is all about you and what shots you want to achieve.

In my eyes these shoots can be as an engagement shoot (not everyone wants the normal sit and smile pictures), or as a post wedding shoot either on your own, as a couple or maybe with your bridesmaids etc.

You can add some elements of your personalities into it. A walk with the dog, horse riding, rugby, football, a walk on the beach, in the woods, diy so many options.

So your wedding is a wonderful distant memory, but you would love to put that dress on and feel fabulous once again. Your dress is a real work of design art and deserves to be shown off in all its glory!

Treasure the dress shoots are a wonderful bonus to have after your wedding. Because weddings go by so fast (as you constantly hear when planning your big day) I want to help keep the glow of the wedding and honeymoon to last as loooong as possible, keeping those post wedding blues at bay.

What to think about and consider:

Why have a shoot like this?

Now that the wedding is over, you have two choices of what to do with the dress. You can suffocate it in a plastic bag and hope that your daughter will want to wear it in 20 years, or you can put it back on and have some fun. It doesn't have to be all that extreme it’s just a chance to use your wedding dress again (before having it cleaned and boxed away) and in ways you would not have dreamt of doing on the day, to create truly stunning wedding pictures.

For years wedding photography has been a bit restricted by where a Bride is prepared to go and in her very special dress on the big day itself. I frequently hear brides after their wedding say that they wish they had been a bit more adventurous with their dress on the day and then couples complaining about the huge cost of cleaning the dress and packing it away in a posh box.

What will happen?

You can create some fabulous, arty, unusual, more creative, fun and fashion style Wedding Photographs in different or unusual locations that you wouldn't get to go to on your wedding day.

I can go out on location with the Bride and Groom after their wedding and take some real fun, sensual, sexy, and fashion driven shots, before the dress gets cleaned and put away!!

A great day out, fun memories and stunning photos to last you a lifetime

The idea is to find a location that’s interesting or different or somewhere you wouldn’t expect to see a wedding dress. If your stuck for a location I have plenty of suggestions.

Hiya Everyone

Hope everyone is doing well and coping with our crazy weather!

Gor those of you who are new followers or just plane nosey here is abit about me:

I was born is middlesex then as a teenager moved to Norfolk I then married a Soldier and travelled the UK living in different areas. I have 5 gorgeous children (4girls). I then seperated from my Husband (but still LOVE weddings) and now back in the Middlesex area. After years of taking family snaps, nights out etc I really fell in love with photography. I used to model (and still do now and again) which increased my passion for photography. I have always loved babies, weddings, romance and horses so at first I was not sure which way I wanted my photography to go. I started helping a military photographer who helped me no end and whos passion just made mine explode. I went on a few courses and started doing some photography jobs here and there. I then decided to set up as a business last year mainly focusing on weddings and boudoir. I decided I did not want to leave my children for just any job but I really do love weddings and boudoir photography is just amazing seeing the confidence on the ladies rise so fast. I am 27yrs old, I have dyslexia (as I'm sure you can tell through my spelling ;) and dyspraxia so it has not been easy but well worth it when I get any possitive feedback. Hope this gives you a little insight into me and why I love what I do. :) x

Hiya Everyone

I hope you all had a wonderfull Jubilee with lots of fun and you with children have all enjoyed half term. Next the olypics! Down my road the one of the lanes of the main road has alread been changed into an "olypic lane" already which is causing major problems but the torch is coming down here so I'm thinking it will be a great memory for the children.

As I have had such a crazy start to this year I have not managed to get to any wedding shows :( . So I decided instead I would put some fab offers directly to some lovely Brides to be and also to some ladies who would like a treat.
